What the customer should prepare

The goal is to make the first access to the server simple and secure. These are the details the customer will normally need to have ready.

Dashboard credentials

The first step will be to define the password used to access the TCB server dashboard.

Exchange details

Exchange, market, trading pair, API key, Secret key and Passphrase when the exchange requires it.

Whitelist / allowed IP

The server displays its public IP so the customer can add it to the exchange API whitelist.

Security validation

Before activating the bot, TCB verifies authentication, trading permissions, the absence of withdrawals and authorization of the current VPS IP.

STEP 1

Password

On the first login the customer defines or changes the dashboard password. This step exists to secure access before any exchange credentials are entered.

  • Create or confirm the dashboard password.
  • Use the strong password generator when needed.
  • Store that password before continuing with the setup.

STEP 2

Exchange & security

Configure the exchange and API credentials from the security section of your TCB server.

  • Select Exchange and Market.
  • Enter the Trading pair, API key, Secret key and Passphrase when applicable.
  • Copy the VPS public IP and add it to the exchange whitelist.
  • Run “Test API connection” and “Test permissions & security”.
Note: the Passphrase field is shown only when the selected exchange requires it, for example KuCoin.

STEP 3

Security check & Start bot

Before starting the bot, TCB checks the connection and security settings using read-only tests without placing orders.

  • Successful exchange authentication.
  • Valid trading pair and trading permissions available.
  • Withdrawals disabled and restricted IP policy in place.
  • Confirmation that the current VPS IP is authorized.
  • Only then does the final step to start the bot become available.
